Directors Commentary

Hi, I'm Darren and I'm the director of Hummers Cavern. When planning our opening sequence there was many things we had to take into account before filming. Such as the costume as we wanted to portray our male character as an everyday citizen and him be relatable to the audience. But we were be to change how he was viewed by the non-dietetic music as it sounded sad which gave the character a depressed look abd instantly told the audience that they had to sympathies for this character before they even knew his story. With the female character on the other hand we wanted to contrast the appearance of the character with the way she acted. We done this by giving her a white dress to symbolize purity and show innocence however her actions show that there is more to this character than meets the eye.
